Peanut the American Guinea Pig demonstrates his amazing,
basic tricks. He is trained utilizing
Positive Reinforcement and Clicker Training.
The only trick that required luring was “Jump over a
Hurdle/Object." Due to the fact that
Peanut is nearly a senior guinea pig, it has become a bit more difficult for
him to jump over tall objects; therefore, we save such a behavior for occasions
(and give him plenty of rewards at the end!).
Because “basic tricks” falls under such a broad category, we
will showcase Peanut’s other behaviors in upcoming videos labeled up to Part 3. (Putting them altogether would have
made for an incredibly long video.)
The cage shown in multiple clips in the beginning of the
video is not Peanut’s actual cage. It
was used for temporary reasons, and Peanut is now living in one of a much
larger area which gives him room to roam and play as he pleases.

The song is titled “Golden Sunrise” (Full).
